By reserving or purchasing a kitten from Bayou Cajun Coons, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms as part of the purchasing process.

Terms & Conditions of Purchase

By reserving or purchasing a kitten from Bayou Cajun Coons, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

  1. Deposits & Payments

     

    • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a kitten.

    • Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price.

    • Remaining balance must be paid in full before pickup or delivery.

     

  2. Selection & Availability

     

    • Kittens are placed in approved homes only.

    • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a sale if we believe it is not in the kitten’s best interest.

    • Breeder retains the right of first choice on any litter.

     

  3. Health & Veterinary Care

     

    • All kittens are vet-checked, dewormed, and vaccinated appropriate to their age before leaving our cattery.

    • Each kitten comes with a written health guarantee against congenital defects for a specified period (typically 1 year).

    • We cannot guarantee against common illnesses caused by stress or improper care after transfer.

     

  4. Pickup & Delivery

     

    • Kittens may go to their new homes no earlier than 12–14 weeks of age.

    • Local pickup is preferred; safe, approved delivery options within the United States can be arranged at buyer’s expense.

    • Travel conditions and timing must be agreed upon in advance.

     

  5. Spay/Neuter & Breeding Rights

     

    • All kittens are sold as pets only, unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.

    • Breeding rights are granted only to approved, registered breeders.

     

  6. Care & Welfare

     

    • Buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition, housing, medical care, and affection.

    • Under no circumstance should the cat be surrendered to a shelter or rescue; if rehoming becomes necessary, please contact us first for assistance.

     

  7. Registration & Documentation

     

    • All kittens are TICA-registered and come with pedigree paperwork once proof of spay/neuter (if required) is provided.

     

  8. Communication

     

    • Buyer agrees to maintain contact for occasional updates.

    • We love to see our kittens grow and remain available for advice or questions throughout your cat’s life.
